His talk, “The Old Guard is Dead: Combining Old Techniques and New Media to Win” went through recent successful congressional campaigns and SuperPAC case-studies. Will also went after some sacred cows, challenging both the effectiveness of some new digital tools and the wisdom of deferring to traditional partisan power-centers when working with an increasingly independent and unattached electorate.
